Calm. Kind. Curious.

A children's media company, built by a parent.

Made by a parent. Ad-free, calm media for kids 0–5 — stories, songs, books, and play.

Free. No ads. The parent is the only account.

Why LUMI

Kids' media got loud, and greedy. We're building the calm.

Three things every kids' platform does. We refuse all three.

Zero data on children

No tracking. No profiling. No ad-targeting of kids — ever. The parent is the only account; the child is who it's for. Children's data is a separate category, ethically and legally, and we treat it that way. This isn't a setting we toggle. It's the company we are.

Made by a parent

One dad. One voice. A real toddler named Mira and a real poodle named Luna asleep at his feet. LUMI isn't an algorithm guessing what your child might watch next — it's one parent making the calm, kind things he wanted for his own daughter, and trusting yours will recognise them too.

Calm by design

Acoustic music. Soft voices. Real silence between the words. Toddlers don't yet have the brakes for fast-cut media — the part of the brain that says slow down, look away doesn't fully arrive until school age. Calm isn't an aesthetic choice. It's the only honest pace.

The family

For every part of your child's day.

One calm universe of characters, across every format a family actually uses — from the morning rush to the last story before sleep.

The LUMI universe

One cast of friends, everywhere your child meets them.

The same gentle characters thread through every story, song and book — familiar faces a child grows up alongside. Milo, Luna, Pip and Nani — written one bedtime at a time.

Luna

the calm one

Gentle, observant, never rushed. Named after the family's real toy poodle. Leads every wind-down — slow breath, ears soft, eyes settling — the cue your child learns to match alongside her.

For the wind-down before sleep.

Milo

the explorer

Curious, brave, a little impulsive. Does a small "Wonder Wiggle" whenever he finds something new — a way of saying yes to the world before deciding what to do with it.

For the moment before a new room, new food, new face.

Pip

the friend

A small bird with a big ear. Always the first to notice how someone else is feeling, and the first to ask. The one who quietly teaches the words for what your child can't quite name yet.

For the cry that isn't about the scraped knee.

Nani

the gentle one

Patient, slow-moving, never in a hurry. The big, soft presence who makes bedtime feel safe. When the day gets too big, Nani is the friend who sits down beside it.

For the long bedtime when nothing's working.

How one parent makes this much

One story becomes a whole day.

Podcastepisode Song Video Bookpage Print-able News-letter one story

AI is the studio, not a shortcut. The words, the ear, the editing, the no's, are mine. The machine helps me make the same story land in six places a family already lives.

Toddlers learn through repetition. A child asks for the same story forty times not because they forgot — that's how it settles in. The flywheel makes that repetition possible without exhausting the parent or the kid.

1

One bedtime story is written and recorded, with a parent's ear for what calms a child and what doesn't.

2

It becomes a podcast episode, an illustrated video, and a song — the same story, three ways a family already listens.

3

Then a printable, a page in a picture book, and a quiet note in the Sunday newsletter.

4

Every piece is owned outright — a calm catalog that compounds, slowly, on purpose, for as long as we make it.

One parent. Near-zero marginal cost. A catalog that compounds.

The promise we won't break

Your child is never the product.

Every other kids' platform makes money from attention and data. We refuse to. It's the hardest promise we make — and the whole reason to trust us.

Zero data on children

No tracking. No profiling. No ad-targeting of kids. Nothing about your child is collected, stored, or sold. Ever. A 3-year-old's sense of self is still being built — the youngest people on the internet should not be its product, and on LUMI they aren't.

The parent is the account

You hold the account. Your child is the beneficiary, not the user being measured. That distinction sounds small. It's the entire difference between a kids' product made for kids and one made for the data they generate.

No ads to kids

Children's experiences are ad-free. Full stop. If LUMI ever takes a sponsor, it's a brief, clearly-labelled note to grown-ups only — never to your child, never inside a story, never disguised as one.

If we ever break this promise, the change comes with our resignation.

Our story
"I started LUMI for my daughter, Mira. Everything made for her age felt like a sugar rush — so I started making the calm, kind things I wished existed."

I'm Nameet. A dad in Dubai. A few months ago, Mira couldn't settle — and everything made for her age felt loud, fast, or quietly trying to sell us something. So I started telling her slow stories instead. About a curious mongoose called Milo, and a calm cream-coloured poodle called Luna.

Luna's real. She's asleep on the sofa right now.

LUMI is that, made bigger. AI is my studio — the words, the ear, the picking-what-stays are mine. The point isn't a media empire that shouts the loudest. It's a small, trustworthy company that helps one parent create one calm moment with their child tonight, and then helps them do it again tomorrow. It's not the big moments that matter, it's the small ones repeated.

Created by a parent, for his daughter… and for you.

— Nameet
